Alabama Tracks

So Friday of last week, we went to the doctor  so that  I could have my ultrasound.  Joel and Ruthie went with and this is what we saw….

Then we saw this….

So, if you can’t tell, it is a boy.  We will have Samuel Edward (maybe Samuel Edward Burns) in April of 08.  Right now he is measuring a week ahead.  I go back in another 2 weeks for another ultrasound to check his heart, kidneys, and blood flow as I went a little earlier this time and they couldn’t get everything they needed.  For now, we are excited and are busy in the planning and preparation.

I took these of Ruthie tonight shortly after dinner.  She couldn’t figure out how to get the hood of her jacket off her head once I put it on her.  She hammed it up for the camera and is beginning to get really comfortable with picture taking.  Enjoy and I hope it brings a smile to a few faces that so desperately need it.
