I’m a graduate!!!
I’m finally done with cake classes. I have completed one of the things that I’ve wanted to do for sometime and I’m very proud of myself as a result. It always helps when your classmates say that “you have the knack for it.” So, for Class 3 we had to make a fondant cake and a wedding cake. Here is my wedding cake. You should be able to make them larger by clicking directly on the picture.
So there you have it. In case you can’t tell, I used light pink frosting as a base and white decorations. The cake is a white vanilla with a raspberry filling. Yummy!

Nothing. I think I’m done with cakes for a short while. They take so much time and my waist line can’t handle it. I’m taking part of this cake to work tomorrow to give some of it away. It’s been an expensive little class I will say that much. But it has been fun and I’m grateful that I have been able to take it.

Cool, cool, COOL!!! You did a great job and you’ve added greatly to your list of things you can do to make money when you are home with kids some day!

Absolutely gorgeous….I am so PROUD of you. this looks like a cake that has been done by someone who has made many, not what I would expect from a “first timer”. I bet you will get lots of cake orders once people at work see what you’ve been doing and taste how good they are. Way to go Idaho.
